Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: David Wilson #30299 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Faster Finish, Sharper Pace Than His Last Boulderthon 10K David Wilson crossed in 48:35, trimming nearly a minute off his 2024 Boulderthon 10K time of 49:31 and moving up from 146th to 134th overall a finish inside the top 10% of the field, and 97th among men. His race built steadily through the middle miles before tightening late, with the second mile standing out as his quickest of the day at 7:23, a notch below his overall pace of 7:50 per mile. Like every Boulderthon distance, his 10K closed on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting cap to a day run at altitude above 5,000 feet. With his early pace as the benchmark, holding that rhythm through the closing mile could be one place to look for next time.
