Steady Early Pace Anchors a Solid 10K Finish Annie Ray finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 58:35. She moved through the field consistently, holding her cumulative pace between 8:54 and 9:10 per mile through the first five miles before the final mile slowed her overall average to 9:27. Her strongest stretch came early: miles one and two combined for an 8:54 pace, the fastest sustained mile-plus of her race. Finishing downtown on the Pearl Street Mall, Ray completed a course run at over 5,000 feet of elevation a factor worth noting given her even effort through the bulk of the distance. Holding that early rhythm a bit longer into the closing miles could be a useful focus for her next 10K.
