Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Jaquelin H #32975 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Opening Mile Anchors a Steady Finish Jaquelin H crossed the line in 1:26:16 for the 10K, opening with a brisk 10:52 first mile that proved her fastest of the race. From there the pace settled into the 13:4015:35 range through the middle miles, with a slight rebound in mile five before a final push through mile six carried her to the Pearl Street Mall finish. Every distance at this race ends on that historic downtown Boulder stretch, a fitting close after covering ground that sits above 5,000 feet of elevation. Her opening mile stands out as the day's highlight a pace that, if sustained, would have been well ahead of her final overall time, and a good marker for pacing strategy in future 10Ks.
