Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Connor Haney #32069 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Miles Build to a Strong Finishing Kick Connor Haney ran the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:21, an 8:55 per mile pace. Racing in the M30-34 division out of Golden, CO, he settled into a consistent rhythm through the first four miles, holding between 9:03 and 9:16 pace, before dropping his fastest mile of the race, an 8:02, from mile 4 to 5. He closed with a 9:17 final mile to complete the 10K. Haney's race took shape as a slow, deliberate build, with cumulative pace tightening from 9:16 after mile one down to 8:55 by the finish. That mile 4-to-5 stretch stands out as the clear highlight, a surge of nearly a minute faster than his early-race pace. The finish came on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close to a race run at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
