Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Ronan Lu #31002 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Opening Mile Anchors a Steady 10K Ronan Lu completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 50:57, an 8:13 per mile pace that closely echoed the 8:08 pace he posted in last year's Boulderthon 5K. Lu went out briskly, clocking a 7:00 opening mile that proved his fastest of the day, before easing gradually through splits of 7:29, 7:51, 8:51, 8:23 and 9:41 to the line. That first mile stood as the highlight of his race, a strong foundation for a course that began in downtown Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation and carried him to the finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall.
