Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Peyton Fenner #31373 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pacing Highlighted by a Strong Fifth Mile Peyton Fenner covered the 10K in 54:15, an 8:45 min/mile pace across the distance. His race unfolded evenly through the first three miles, holding between 8:33 and 8:42 pace, before a brief dip to 9:12 in the fourth mile. He then surged to his fastest mile of the day, an 8:08 split in mile five, before easing to a 9:20 close over the final mile. Racing in his home city of Boulder, sitting at over 5,000 feet of elevation, Fenner's 10K began at 8:10 AM and finished, like every distance in the event, on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. That strong fifth-mile surge stands as the clear highlight of his effort, a solid response after the slower fourth mile.
