Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Isabella Clegg #30695 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Through Five Miles, Then a Late Fade Isabella Clegg covered the 10K in 1:02:08, an overall pace of 10:01 per mile. Her race built steadily through the first five miles, holding between 9:25 and 10:17 pace, before a final mile that slowed to 11:18 pulled her overall number back down. Mile two was her strongest, clocked at 9:25, showing solid rhythm early before the course settled into a tougher middle stretch. Racing at over 5,000 feet of altitude, Clegg's early miles reflect strong pacing discipline before the finish, which brought her onto the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Considering how well she held her pace through five miles, a touch more reserve for that final stretch could help her close even stronger next time.
