Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Ryan Kelly #30525 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles
Strong Start Sets the Tone for a Steady 10K Ryan Kelly completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:41, averaging 10:26 per mile across the 6.2-mile course. His fastest running of the day came right out of the gate, with opening miles of 9:53 and 9:46, before he settled into a steadier cadence through the middle and closing miles to bring it home. Kelly's race unfolded at more than 5,000 feet of Boulder elevation, a notable backdrop for his early pace. The 10K field set off at 8:10 AM, and like every Boulderthon distance, his race concluded with a finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder a fitting stage to cap off a well-paced effort.
