Faster Finish, Same Steady Drive Oskar Nylen completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 59:47, improving on his 2024 finish of 1:01:43 by nearly two minutes and moving from 9:57 to 9:38 min/mile pace. Nylen's race built steadily through the first four miles, with cumulative pace settling from 9:06 to 9:32 min/mile as he found his rhythm. Mile five stood out as his strongest stretch, dropping to an 8:50 split and pulling his overall pace back down to 9:24 min/mile before the finish. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, this negative-split move through mile five reflects well-paced effort management over the back half of the course.
