Steady Pace Carries Young Runner Through 10K Eleanore Lewis, 17, of Highlands Ranch, completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 56:11, an overall pace of 9:03 per mile. Lewis ran her first three miles between 8:47 and 8:51 per mile, holding that rhythm through the midpoint before easing slightly across miles four and five, still in the high 8:50s. The final mile slowed to 10:04, nudging her overall pace to 9:05, but the first 5K stayed remarkably even. That opening consistency stands as the strongest stretch of her race. With the finish coming on Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, at over 5,000 feet of elevation, her pacing discipline early on gave her a strong foundation for the day.
