Steady Miles Power a Strong 10K Finish Lassen Ando finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 52:33, placing third in the Female 15-19 division. Her first two miles clicked off at 8:08 and 8:07, and she settled into a consistent rhythm through the middle of the race before a final surge closed out the effort. Ando's opening 2 miles were her fastest stretch of the race, averaging just over 8:07 per mile a strong sign of pacing discipline early on. Boulder's elevation, sitting above 5,000 feet, makes that kind of even effort through the first half of a 10K notable. From here, tightening the third and fourth mile split could help smooth out the overall pacing curve even further.
