Steady Pace Carries Him Through a Consistent 10K Chris Crawford finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 53:59, holding a tight pace band through the first four miles before a strong fifth mile brought his cumulative pace down to 8:34 min/mile, his fastest point in the race. That fifth mile, covered in 8:08, stood out as the best stretch of his race, a clear surge before the pace settled back over the closing mile. The effort came at altitude, with Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet, adding context to the overall steadiness of his pacing across the distance.
