Age-Group Ace: A Sharper 5K Second Time Around Debra Christopher won the women's 70-74 division at the 2026 Boulderthon 5K, finishing in 32:23. That improves on her 2025 Boulderthon 5K time of 33:26, where she also topped her division. Christopher's race shaped up with a strong middle stretch: after an opening mile of 10:26, she surged to 9:14 for mile two, pulling her overall pace to 9:49 per mile. The final mile eased back to 11:49, settling her finish pace at 10:27 per mile. That second mile stands as the highlight of her race, a clear step up in effort before the closing stretch. With Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet, that mile-two push is a notable display of strength at altitude.
