Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Aedan Mcfall #41320 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Blistering Opening Miles Power a Top-Tier 5K Aedan Mcfall crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 15:53, finishing 15th overall out of the field of 2,677 and 12th among men, with a 2nd-place finish in the M 25-29 division. Mcfall opened fast, covering the first mile in 4:50 and the second in 4:40, building a strong cumulative pace of 4:45 per mile through two miles. The final mile slowed to 5:47, tempering the overall pace to 5:07 per mile, but the first two miles stood as his standout stretch of the race. Running that pace at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet adds weight to the effort behind those early splits.
