Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Molly Lescrenier #41986 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Start, Strong Middle Mile Carries Her Home Molly Lescrenier finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 49:59, closing out a field of 2,677 participants. Her race built momentum early, dropping from a 15:06 opening mile to a quicker 14:47 second mile before the pace eased to 18:14 over the closing stretch. That middle mile stood out as her fastest of the day, showing a strong surge before settling in for the finish. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet adds its own demand to any distance, and Lescrenier's ability to accelerate through the second mile reflects solid pacing instincts. Her finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall capped a race with a clear high pointone she can look to build from as she works toward a more even final mile in future outings.
