Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Amelia Tomasulo #41085 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers a Solid 5K Finish Amelia Tomasulo covered the 5K in 29:15, an average pace of 9:26 per mile. She opened with a 9:08 first mile, surged to a race-best 7:55 in the second, then eased to 11:08 over the closing mile to the finish. That middle mile stood out as her fastest stretch of the day, a solid push before the final mile's pace settled. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, holding that kind of mid-race speed reflects well on her effort across the course.
