Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Danilo Caetano #41295 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Fuels a Steady 5K Effort Danilo Caetano finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 30:14. He opened with a 9:45 first mile, then surged to his fastest mile of the race, an 8:35 second mile, before easing to an 11:06 close over the final stretch. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to that middle-mile push, where Caetano found his best rhythm before the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. With no prior Boulderthon results on record, this run stands as his first data point at the distance a solid baseline, with the strong second mile suggesting room to build a more even pacing strategy for next time.
