Strong Middle Mile Powers Solid 5K Finish Christian Seith completed the 5K in 28:26, an average pace of 9:10 per mile. He opened with a 9:01 first mile, surged to a 8:08 second milehis fastest of the racethen eased to 10:17 over the closing stretch, showing a strong mid-race push before settling in through the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. Boulders elevation of over 5,000 feet adds context to the effort. Given the strength of that second mile, Christian might consider working on sustaining that quicker pace deeper into future 5Ks.
