Strong Start Carries Her to a Top Finish Lynzie Flemingy finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 22:25, placing 129th overall and 31st among women in a field of 2,677, while taking second in the F40-44 division. That's a well-executed result at any altitude, let alone in Boulder's thin air above 5,000 feet. Her race went out fast and settled from there: a 6:46 opening mile gave way to 7:07 and 7:43 over the next two, for a final pace of 7:14 min/mile. That first mile was her standout stretch, well clear of her overall pace, and reflects strong early positioning. Holding that opening speed a touch longer could bring the overall pace down further next time, though the finish itself was a clear success on the day.
