Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Yazmin Aguilar #40318 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Pace Builds Through the Finish Yazmin Aguilar completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 40:20. Her pace tightened with each mile, moving from 13:18 in the first mile to 12:56 in the second and 12:49 in the third the fastest mile of her race, closing things out on a strong note. Every distance at Boulderthon finishes on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting stage for that closing mile. Running in a city that sits above 5,000 feet of elevation, Aguilar's ability to keep lowering her pace as the race progressed reflects well-managed effort across the course.
