After opening in 8:34, Mila surged to a 7:20 mile through the second mile, her strongest mile of the day, before settling into a 9:41 close. Finishing at over 5,000 feet of elevation in downtown Boulder, her pacing swing reflects a runner willing to push once warmed up a pattern worth smoothing out with a more even effort next time.
