Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Olivia Reich #42370 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers Steady 5K Finish Olivia Reich completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 30:37, an average pace of 9:52 per mile. Her race unfolded unevenly across the three miles: an opening 10:18, a strong second mile at 8:35, then a 10:42 close. That middle mile stands out as her fastest of the race by a wide margin, showing a burst of pace control mid-course. Reich might look at building a steadier rhythm between miles one and three to carry that middle-mile speed further into the finish. The race capped off with a run through the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a finish shared by every distance at the event, at over 5,000 feet of elevation.
