Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Charles Hall #41825 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

**Steady Start Fades Late in Boulder 5K Finish** Charles Hall completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 30:27, finishing 635th overall out of the field of 2,677 in the M30-34 division. Hall opened with a solid first mile in 9:28, then quickened to his fastest split of the race, 9:11, through mile two. The final mile slowed to 10:44, pulling his overall pace back to 9:49 min/mile by the finish. The middle mile stands out as his strongest stretch of the race, and a touch more evenness through that closing mile could sharpen the finish next time out. The race took place in Boulder, Colorado, at over 5,000 feet of elevation, before finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall downtown.
