Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Leila Ebert #41791 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Effort Builds Mile by Mile on the Way to Pearl Street Leila Ebert finished the 5K in 41:43. Her opening mile was her fastest at 11:21, before easing to 13:29 for mile two and 15:35 over the closing stretch, a gradual, controlled slowdown across the distance rather than a single tough patch. Every Boulderthon distance finishes on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, capping Ebert's race in the heart of the city. Running at over 5,000 feet of elevation, her pacing pattern showed a deliberate, even effort through the finish rather than a fade at the end.
