Strong Middle Mile Powers 5K Finish Jackson Vogt completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:26, finishing 937th overall out of the field of 2,677. Vogt's race built momentum through the middle mile, dropping from an 11:26 opening mile to a 9:24 second mile his fastest stretch of the race before settling back to an 11:27 close. That middle-mile surge marked the highlight of his effort, showing a strong gear shift once he found his rhythm. With the race finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, Vogt has a clear target for his next 5K: carrying that second-mile pace deeper into the final stretch.
