Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Skye Henley #41235 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Start Fuels a Top-Tier 5K Finish Skye Henley crossed the line in 22:21, placing 125th overall and 29th among women in a field of 2,677. Her race built through a swift opening: a 6:57 first mile gave way to a 6:37 cumulative pace at the halfway mark, powered by a 6:17 second mile her fastest of the day. The final mile slowed to 8:26, but her overall pace of 7:12 min/mile held firm for a solid finish. Henley's early pace stood out against Boulder's elevation, which sits above 5,000 feet, adding weight to that quick second-mile split. Finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall, she capped a well-paced effort with room to build a stronger closing kick next time out.
