Strong Middle Mile Powers Steady 5K Finish Emma Kellett covered the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 31:59, an overall pace of 10:19 per mile. Her race built through the middle mile before easing slightly at the finish: mile one came in at 10:54, mile two dropped to 9:23, and mile three settled to 10:42 as she crossed the line on the Pearl Street Mall. That second mile stood out as her fastest of the day, a solid surge in the heart of the course. Running at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, holding that pace was a strong showing. With a bit more even pacing across all three miles, there's room to build on this result at future 5Ks.
