Steady Start Gives Way to a Determined Finish Katelyn Goode completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:31, part of a field of 2,677 runners. Goode's opening mile came in at 9:56, followed by a second mile at 10:10, keeping her cumulative pace right around 10:03 min/mile at the halfway point. The final mile slowed to 12:21, pulling her overall pace to 10:49 min/mile by the finish. Her first two miles were the strongest stretch of the race, and there may be room to carry that early rhythm further into the final mile next time. The race finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting stage for closing out the effort.
