Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Breanna Latt #42408 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Second Mile Anchors a Steady 5K Effort Breanna Latt completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 38:37. She opened with a 12:08 first mile, then found her rhythm to run her fastest mile of the day in the second, clocking 11:02. The final mile eased to 14:20, rounding out a race with a clear midrace surge. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, provides a demanding backdrop for any road race, and Latt's steady pacing through the middle mile stood out against that setting. With no prior Boulderthon results on record, this run establishes a solid baseline. Going forward, she might look to carry that strong second-mile rhythm through to the finish for an even more even split overall.
