Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Beatriz C #42301 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady Start, Strong Finish on the Mall Beatriz C completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 37:50. Her race unfolded with an early rhythm through the first two miles, holding an 11:20 min/mile pace at the halfway mark before easing pace over the closing mile, finishing on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Her strongest stretch came between miles one and two, where she clocked 11:02 min/mile the fastest full-mile split of her race. That mile reflected solid, controlled pacing before the finish. Given the elevation in Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, maintaining that mid-race rhythm is a good foundation to build from for future 5Ks.
