Steady Start Fuels a Strong Middle Mile in Boulder Grace Stockwell finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:53. She opened with a 10:20 first mile, then surged to a 9:23 second mileher fastest of the racebefore easing to a 12:59 close, settling her overall pace at 10:55 per mile. Stockwell's race in downtown Boulder capped a course that, like all Boulderthon distances, finishes on the Pearl Street Mall. Her second-mile push stood out as the day's strongest stretch, showing a runner capable of finding another gear mid-race even at altitude above 5,000 feet. Her final mile's dip in pace offers a place to focus if she returns to sharpen the closing stretch.
