Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Haley Dietrich #40403 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Fuels Steady 5K Finish Haley Dietrich completed the 5K in 30:35, an overall pace of 9:52 per mile. Her race built through a strong second mile, covered in 8:45, well ahead of her opening mile's 9:44 and faster than the closing mile's 11:06. That middle-mile surge stands as the fastest full-mile stretch of her race, even as the pace eased over the final stretch into the Pearl Street Mall finish. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, that sustained effort through the middle mile reflects solid pacing discipline for the distance.
