That time matched her 2025 Boulderthon result to the second, with pace holding nearly identical at 8:06 per mile versus 8:05 the year before, a strong marker of sustained fitness. Her race built with a strong opening, clocking 7:46 for the first mile before surging to a 7:08 second mile, the fastest stretch of her race. The final mile eased to 9:14 as cumulative pace settled at 8:02 per mile. Racing through downtown Boulder, sitting above 5,000 feet, and finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall, Ware might consider working on sustaining that second-mile strength through the finish in future races.
