Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Amelia Vrabel #41428 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Third in Her Age Group, Podium Pace All Race Amelia Vrabel finished the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 27:21, placing third in the F 50-54 division. Racing at altitude in Boulder, she moved through the field steadily, opening with an 8:38 first mile before quickening to 7:52 for her fastest mile of the race in the second segment. The final mile eased to 9:57, closing out a race where the middle stretch stood out as her strongest running. The early pickup between miles one and two shows a runner capable of finding a faster gear once settled, a useful signal for pacing strategy in future 5Ks. Holding third in her division from the opening mile through the finish reflects consistency worth building on.
