Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Charlie Stevens #40803 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Personal-Best Pace Fueled by a Fast Front Half Charlie Stevens crossed in 21:30, his quickest Boulderthon 5K yet, improving on last year's 21:42 and well ahead of his 2023 and 2024 marks of 23:01 and 23:08. His race opened strong, covering the first mile in 6:17 and the second even faster at 6:02, pushing his cumulative pace under 6:10 per mile through two miles. The final mile slowed to an 8:26 split, but the early pace carried him to his fastest result at this distance in Boulder. Racing at over 5,000 feet of elevation, Stevens' front-half effort stands out as the highlight of his day before the race wrapped up on the Pearl Street Mall.
