Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Manni Hernandez #42159 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers a Steady 5K Finish Manni Hernandez completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 33:26, an average pace of 10:47 per mile. Hernandez opened with a 10:28 first mile, then surged to a 9:22 second mile his fastest stretch of the race before easing to a 12:36 close over the final mile. That middle-mile push was the highlight of an otherwise even effort. Like every distance at Boulderthon, the 5K finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close at over 5,000 feet of elevation. With no prior Boulderthon results on record, this run stands as his first mark at the event, one built on a well-paced start and a strong surge through the second mile.
