Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Christian Scott #41004 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers Steady 5K Finish Christian Scott completed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K in 32:20, an overall pace of 10:26 per mile. His race built momentum after a 11:40 opening mile, then sharpened to a 9:13 second mile before settling to 10:35 over the closing stretch. That middle mile stood out as his fastest of the race, showing a solid surge once he found his rhythm. The finish came on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting capstone after a race that started at over 5,000 feet of elevation. With room to build on that strong second-mile pace across the full distance, Christian has a clear touchpoint for his next effort.
