Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Robert Devoss #42122 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Middle Mile Powers a Top-10% Finish Robert Devoss covered the 5K in 22:48, finishing 138th overall out of the field of 2,677 and 106th among men in the 2026 Boulderthon. That result also placed him inside the top 15 of the men's 20-24 division. Devoss opened with a 7:26 first mile before surging to a 6:17 second mile, his fastest stretch of the race and enough to pull his cumulative pace down to 6:51 per mile. He eased slightly over the closing mile, finishing at a 7:13 cumulative pace. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, that early surge stands out as the clear high point of his race.
