Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Emily Hinck #40798 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Strong Finish Secures Division Win Emily Hinck crossed the line in 20:10, placing 86th overall and 23rd among women in a field of 2,677, while topping the F45-49 division. Her race built through a fast opening mile, accelerated further, then eased slightly before the finish, reflecting a well-paced effort from start to close. Her second mile was the highlight, covered in 5:47, the quickest of her three splits. Given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, that mile stands out as a strong display of pace control at altitude. With her division title secured and her overall placement inside the top tier of the field, this was a well-managed 5K that showed both speed and composure across the distance.
