Fast Start Fuels Top-3 Finish at Altitude Ashley Frye crossed the 10K line in 38:20, good for 11th overall and 3rd among women and in her age division out of a field of 3,071. That result builds on a strong 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon, where she ran 6:28 pace; this year she quickened to 6:11 per mile over the shorter distance. Frye's race opened fast, with a 5:31 opening mile that was her best full-mile split of the day, before settling into the 5:50s and 6:20s through the middle miles. She surged again over mile five in 5:51 before easing through the final mile as the course closed out. Racing in Boulder, which sits above 5,000 feet, Frye's pacing held firm across the bulk of the distance, a solid platform to build from for her next 10K.
