Strong Front Half Fuels Solid Boulder Finish Aimee Dearias, 30, of Boulder, CO, finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:52:18, an 8:34/mile pace across the 13.1-mile course. Her race showed a clear two-part shape: the first 7 miles ran at a steady 7:56-8:15/mile clip, then eased through the closing miles, settling near 9:20-9:45/mile from mile 8 onward. That opening stretch, covering nearly seven miles at close to 8:00/mile, stood as the fastest sustained running of her day. Running through Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, Dearias covered a route that pushes out past Boulder Reservoir before returning to finish on the Pearl Street Mall. Her even effort through the first half of the course, holding sub-8:00 pace for seven straight miles, set up a strong foundation before the closing miles slowed. A touch more even pacing late could help her carry that early rhythm all the way to the Mall.
