Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Maiya Fleck #32301 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Start Carries Through a Steady 10K Finish Maiya Fleck completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:07, an 8:53 per mile pace, finishing 376th overall out of the field of 3,071. Fleck's opening mile was her fastest of the race at 7:44, and she held sub-8:15 pace through the first three miles before settling into a steadier rhythm over the back half. Her cumulative pace eased gradually from there, closing out just under 8:53 per mile overall. That early speed reflects well on her ability to bank time in Boulder, a city sitting over 5,000 feet of elevation, before the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. Consider working on evening out effort across the full distance to protect that fast start next time out.
