Steady Early Pace Holds Through a Tiring Final Mile Paul Sagriff finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 57:17. He moved through the opening mile in 8:28, and his fastest mile-long stretch of the race came in the first two miles, holding just above 8:30 pace. From there, effort settled into the 9:009:44 range through miles three and four, before mile five held firm at 9:04. The closing mile eased to 10:34, rounding out a race defined by a strong front half and a controlled finish. Boulder sits at over 5,000 feet of elevation, a backdrop for any race through downtown Boulder. Sagriff's opening miles, well under 9:00 pace, stand out as the strongest sustained running of his day before the effort naturally settled in the later miles.
