Steady Miles Give Way to a Late Fade Before a Strong Closing Kick Andie Mcneil covered the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:53:02, an 8:37 min/mile pace, placing 46th in the F 20-24 division. Her race built steadily through the opening miles, dropping from an 8:40 first mile to an 8:11 second her fastest of the day before locking into a consistent 8:158:30 rhythm through mile 7. The middle miles brought a bit more variation, with mile 8 slipping to 9:03, though she rallied with an 8:35 ninth mile before easing again late. That ninth mile came right as she passed through the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, one of the steadier stretches of her closing miles before the pace loosened over 10 and 11. She closed strong, covering the final mile in 8:55 after a quick 8:24 twelfth mile, a solid finish on a course that ends along the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
