Strong Start Fuels a Top 10% Finish Andrew Eversden crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K finish in 51:36, placing 213th overall and 145th among men, out of a field of 3,071. His opening 5K was the highlight of the racethree miles between 7:50 and 7:54 pace put him among the day's faster movers, with cumulative pace sitting near 7:51 min/mile through mile three. That effort held largely steady through mile five before easing over the final mile. Eversden's early speed came at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, a demanding backdrop for sustained sub-8:00 miles. The 10K field started at 8:10 AM, and like every distance, his race ended on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. Given the pace he carried through the first five miles, a touch more control over that final mile could help him close races even stronger going forward.
