Strong Middle Mile Drives Solid 5K Effort Rose Stella finished the 5K in 26:41. She opened with an 8:31 first mile, then surged to a 7:31 second mile her fastest of the race pulling her cumulative pace down to 8:00 per mile. A 9:39 third mile eased the effort before the finish, settling her overall average at 8:36 per mile. Stella raced Boulderthon in 2025 as well, completing the 10K in 57:12; this year she took on the shorter 5K distance. Her race unfolded at over 5,000 feet of elevation, part of Boulder's high-altitude setting, and closed, like every Boulderthon distance, on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
