Race Recap powered by Laurel Intelligence

Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Ryan Henry #31951 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Start Fades Into a Steady Finish Ryan Henry covered the 10K in 1:17:05. His opening two miles moved at a 10:25 per mile pace, the fastest sustained stretch of his race, before the pace eased through the middle miles and settled into a 12:26 per mile average by the finish. The back half of the course brought a gradual slowdown, with the final mile clocking 14:00, but the early rhythm shows he's capable of quicker sustained running when fresh. Racing through Boulder, which sits above 5,000 feet of elevation, adds a real physiological test regardless of pace. Henry's early-mile execution suggests a runner with good instincts for finding rhythm quickly building on that foundation with more even pacing across the back half could help him carry his strong start further into future 10Ks.
