Sharp Pace Judgment Drives a Season-Best 5K Adelaide Perr crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 5K line in 20:03, placing 82nd overall and 21st among women in a field of 2,677, while topping the F35-39 division. That result improved on her 21:25 finish at the same event last year by over a minute, moving her up from 104th overall and 32nd in her gender group. Perr opened with a 6:24 first mile, then surged to a 6:09 second mile her fastest of the race before closing in 6:53 as cumulative pace settled at 6:28 min/mile. That middle mile stands out as the strongest stretch of her race, showing well-managed effort in the thinner air of Boulder, sitting over 5,000 feet above sea level. Holding the division lead from mile one through the finish reflects a controlled, consistent effort worth building on for future starts.
