She opened conservatively with an 8:54 first mile, held a steady 8:30-8:45 rhythm through the middle miles, then surged over the closing third, dropping to 7:55 at mile 10 and 7:50 by mile 12. Her strongest two-mile stretch came from miles 12 to 13, averaging 7:51 per mile, a clear late-race gear shift after a measured start. That acceleration carried her through the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, where she posted a 7:55 split, among her fastest of the day. Racing at Boulder's altitude above 5,000 feet, she trimmed her cumulative pace steadily from 8:54 at the first mile to 8:22 at the finish, evidence of disciplined, well-controlled pacing across the distance.
