Five Minutes Faster, Strong Finishing Kick Sarah Kelley placed 699th overall and 186th among women in the half marathon, finishing in 1:48:38. That result marks a sizable improvement over her 2025 Boulderthon half marathon, where she ran 1:53:51 more than five minutes slower, with her overall pace dropping from 8:41 to 8:17 per mile. Kelley opened fast, covering the first mile in 7:33 before settling into a steady rhythm through the middle miles. A dip appeared in miles 7 and 8, where splits slowed to 9:01 and 9:08, but she rebounded strongly, posting her fastest full mile of the race at 7:18 in mile 12 to close things out. That late surge helped anchor a solid overall pace of 8:17 per mile, a strong showing at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet.
